All (most) hockey players are "rusty" this time of year...that term "rust" might be derived from the actual rust that has gathered on their skates over the summer while sitting in the bag in the closet. The first annual Rusty Pumpkin Hockey Festival (Nov 1-3 in Palmer) is a chance to shed that rust during a fun-filled tournament and party. There will be food to be purchased, beer to be purchased, silent auction items on which to bid, a costume contest with tournament implications and fun...oh yeah hockey too!
